Regular Visits

Since we already laid the ground work and you are following Dr. Kim's recommendations, the office visit is only about 20 to 30 minutes.

Avoid relapse with regular visits.

You will complete a progress note (the yellow sheet) before seeing Dr. Kim, then you will be treated with either chiropractic, A.R.T. or both.

This is usually followed by 10 to 20 minutes of relaxing therapy on a "roller table" where rollers go up and down your back, massaging and relaxing your muscles and stretching the ligaments in your spine.  Or she may use the Shiatsu Reclining Chair to accomplish this.

It feels great! And Dr. Kim calls it the "Chiropractic version of a Lollypop for being a good patient after the visit." Most patients say they want to take either the Roller Table or the Shiatsu Chair home with them.  And this "after treatment therapy" helps reinforce the changes that she just made in your body and this is just one more way that she does everything she can to make you feel as good as possible each and every visit.

The Goal is to have you feeling very different even from your very first visit.

Using these therapies in addition to the full-body chiropractic care and the Active Release Techniques helps you get well faster and oftentimes eliminates the "3 times a week for the rest of your life" approach that others might take.

By giving you everything we can on each and every visit you save time and money over lots of repeat visits that are needed elsewhere.

Getting a full-body tune-up each and every visit gives you the best chance to stay well longer with fewer trips to our office.  That's our philosophy, although not very popular with other offices - we think it is best for our patients.  And our patients agree!  We think you will too.

Dr. Kim Asks some important questions of interest to Clackamas residents - Chiropractor Clackamas Dr. Kim Asks...

What is the purpose of pain?
Pain prompts many Clackamas folks to begin chiropractic care. But pain isn't the problem! Pain is just how your body alerts you that a limit has been reached (or exceeded), that something isn't working right and that some type of change is needed. As a chiropractor, my job is finding the underlying cause and recommending the changes needed to bring your body back into balance.
How do most people deal with subluxations?
First, they try to ignore them. When they don't, they go to the medicine cabinet to stop their brain from feeling the symptom. Later, back surgery may be threatened. Sadly, it's not until this later stage that they consult our Clackamas chiropractic office. Yet, even with the delay, most are delighted by the results produced by today's chiropractic care.
