Foot Pain

Whether you have Plantar Fasciitis (“Plant-TAR  Fas-she-I-tis” or “Fas-SHY-tis”) or many of the other conditions commonly confused with Plantar Fasciitis – most likely you are suffering needlessly.

The traditional treatments for these conditions can involve painful injections, ineffective, expensive and/or painful supports, even surgery that could take weeks and weeks to recover from – and even then the scar tissue that results from the surgery is oftentimes worse afterward.

But if you want to avoid surgery and have the kind of treatment that Dr. Jameson performs in her office – you might just get the same results as over 98% of her patients – no more pain and a return to the functions and activities that her patients used to do before their foot pain started.  It is not uncommon for patient to notice a difference after their very first or second visit.

Over the past 7 years, Dr. Jameson has treated hundreds of patients with this condition, she has even experienced this treatment herself.

“About 8 years ago, I had developed some scar tissue is the bottom of my foot caused by falling arches.  No doctor I knew of even measured how much my arches were falling until I went to a seminar.  Once I saw the numbers, it was easy to see why my feet were getting worse.  After learning exactly how this problem developed, I went on a mission to find the best solution for me and for my patients.  Over the past 7 years, I have combined Active Release Techniques®, Chiropractic Care, specifically designed stretches and patient “homework” that actually removes the scar tissue and gets rid of nerve entrapments in the feet. By freeing the nerves, the pain diminishes and in most cases completely resolves.   Within a matter of weeks, patients often times are returning to their normal activities with no pain.  It is very exciting since this is completely non-surgical and steroid free!”

By following up her treatments with leading edge, scientifically designed foot supports that actually encourage the proper motion in the feet by supporting all three arches of the foot (instead of just one), Dr. Jameson’s treatment is different in that she not only removes the cause of the problem, but actually works with the feet to restore normal function so the new scar tissue doesn’t get a chance to return.

“She literally put the spring back into my step – and all the pain is gone!  Dr. Jameson was the only doctor that helped me get rid of the foot pain that I had suffered with for over 3 years!”

“I have been pain free for over 6 years now since Dr. Jameson fixed my feet.  I would highly recommend her treatment instead of getting surgery.  It really works!”  David M.

“I had been everywhere and spent thousands trying to get rid of my foot pain.  Dr. Jameson’s treatment had me feeling better as fast as 4 visits and now I’m completely pain-free.  And the special orthotics I got from her are very comfy and were 1/4 the price of the old painful ones I got from my previous doctor.  I’m so grateful I didn’t do surgery. Thanks, Dr. J”  Susan B.

“I have fallen arches since I was a kid and I thought my foot pain was just permanent.  But Dr. J worked with me anyway and – WOW!  What a difference.  I can exercise and work with no pain now.  Just try it.”

Dr. Kim Asks some important questions of interest to Portland residents - Chiropractor Portland Dr. Kim Asks...

What is the purpose of pain?
Pain prompts many Portland folks to begin chiropractic care. But pain isn't the problem! Pain is just how your body alerts you that a limit has been reached (or exceeded), that something isn't working right and that some type of change is needed. As a chiropractor, my job is finding the underlying cause and recommending the changes needed to bring your body back into balance.
How do most people deal with subluxations?
First, they try to ignore them. When they don't, they go to the medicine cabinet to stop their brain from feeling the symptom. Later, back surgery may be threatened. Sadly, it's not until this later stage that they consult our Portland chiropractic office. Yet, even with the delay, most are delighted by the results produced by today's chiropractic care. Contact us and let's get started.
